James Dierx was born in Toronto and studied filmmaking in Chicago, where he began his career at Whitehouse Post. Rising through the editorial ranks, he became an editor in 2016. Along the way, he won the Grand Prize at Camp Kuleshov and directed the viral sensation Cats in Tanks, which has garnered over 2 million views.
His editing work includes campaigns for top brands like Nike, Google, Jeep, Toyota, Apple, Adidas, and Meta. His contribution to Truth.com’s anti-opioid campaign earned an Emmy Award for its impact and creativity.
James now lives in Venice, California, and is represented by Whitehouse Post Productions.
